SAP GUI Title Bar Customization

The SAP GUI title bar can be customized to display details such as the Environment, Client, User ID, Transaction Code, Description, and more. Follow the steps below to enable this feature:

• Create a folder in your C: drive:
  • Create the following folder on your C: drive:
    C:\GUIxt\scripts

• Add the Script File

Place the file Esession.txt into the folder you just created (C:\GUIxt\scripts).

• Login to SAP GUI and Click on the “Customize Local Layout” button.

• Enable the option “Activate GuiXT”.

• A new screen should be displayed where you can configure your GuiXT profile.
  • If enabling GuiXT doesn’t open a new configuration window, repeat the previous step “Activate GuiXT” to ensure it’s activated correctly.

• Log out and log back into the system to view the updated title bar changes.

If the configuration window still doesn’t appear, you may need to download and install the GuiXT.exe file.
